Springing Forward…
Hey there!
I thought I’d be better at this blogging thing. Sorry that I haven’t done much with it, but hopefully you are getting enough updates in my newsletters.
A quick bit about what’s going on here at the Encounter office: This weekend is our Candidate Camp, one of our biggest functions all year. This is where we train and choose our project leaders. These are the people who will actually be out on the field leading trips for us this year. So, as you may guess, it’s very important! And this is our biggest one yet, so we are busy busy busy preparing.
Since I’m new to Adventures, I will actually be going through the camp too! After that, I’ll be able to get out on the field and lead a couple trips this summer. I’m so excited to be able to get out and be a part of all the exciting things I’m helping facilitate from the office every day. I don’t know where I’ll be going just yet, but I promise to let you guys know as soon as I know!
In the mean time, we are just working away to prepare for our super busy season: summer! We’ll have over 100 trips out on the field in the span of just a couple months. We do have a few going in the Spring as well, so it’s a steady build up to the craziness. Be in prayer for all the little details that go in to making these trips run smoothly! And don’t forget to let me know how I can be praying for you specifically.
